Directions

The Phyllis Maud is found very easily. Don’t come from the South unless you have a boat.

From the West (Cardiff):

Head to Junction 28 of the M4 Motorway, follow signs for A48 (Cardiff Road), at the first roundabout, take the second exit and continue on the A48 on a dual carriageway, you’re now on Docks Way. Follow your nose along the A48. At the third roundabout, take the second exit, it remains dual carriageway, you’re now on Usk Way. Just before reaching the Transporter Bridge, which you’ll see spanning the River Usk on your right, you’ll come to a set of traffic lights, and Alexandra Road on your left. Turn left passing the Waterloo Hotel. Continue along Alexandra Road for a short distance. The Phyllis Maud Performance Space will be on your left in a small leafy area between two rows of terraced houses. If you get to Commercial Street you’ve gone too far.

From the East (Bristol):

Head to Junction 24 of the M4 Motorway, follow signs for A48 (Ringland Way). Stay on the A48 “Southern Distributor Road”, passing to the right of the Transporter Bridge. The next turn after the Transporter Bridge, at the traffic lights, and on the right, is Alexandra Road. Turn right on to Alexandra Road passing the Waterloo Hotel. Continue along Alexandra Road for a short distance. The Phyllis Maud Performance Space will be on your left in a small leafy area between two rows of terraced houses. If you get to Commercial Street you’ve gone too far.
